Black Hat SEO This refers to the use of unaccepted or frowned upon SEO practices to achieve higher rankings and more traffic. It is used at the risk of being dropped from the engines or at least being removed from high rankings. It is sometimes called spamdexing and is the opposite of White Hat SEO. You can avoid using keyword, anchor text and domain name stuffing, using hidden text or links, Doorway / Gateway / Jump Pages, Duplicate content taken from other sites, cloaking, delivering different pages depending on the IP address and/or agent who is requesting it, Spamming forums or blogs, techniques like link farms to artificially increase the number of links to pages, excessively cross-linking sites to increase link popularity, Auto-generated content of no value to the end user, Excessive outbound links to websites that use high risk techniques or spam to keep your the site safe from being penalized.
